CBSE Marksheet Correction Window: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to announce CBSE Results 2025 soon. This year, more than 51 lakh students from all over the country have appeared in the 10th and 12th board examinations who are eagerly waiting for their results.

Before the result, CBSE Board has taken an important step. To avoid any kind of mistake in the marksheet of the students, the board has given a one-time opportunity and opened the CBSE Marksheet Correction Window. Under this correction window, all CBSE Affiliated Schools have been allowed to correct the personal information of their registered students.

The Correction Window will be open from 9 April to 17 April 2025. The board has made it clear that no correction of any kind will be accepted after April 17.

This facility has been started by CBSE on the demand of those schools who had earlier uploaded wrong data. While the board had already given clear instructions to check thoroughly before submitting any information.

Now the board has given strict instructions to all the schools to make corrections only after verifying the information of every student from the admission and exit register.

The board has also clarified that the mark sheets and official results of the students will be prepared on the basis of whatever data the schools will submit final by April 17.

Fee for Correction

According to the notification issued by CBSE, a processing fee of ₹ 1000 per student will be applicable for each correction. This amount will have to be deposited by the concerned schools to their CBSE Regional Office on time.

What changes can be made in CBSE Marksheet Correction Window?

During the Correction Window, schools will be able to correct the following details:

Change or spelling of the name of the student’s parents
Correction in the student’s date of birth (based on CBSE rules and valid documents)
Change in the student’s photo
Change in the status of Single Child
Gender Correction

The board has also clarified that no change will be accepted in the student’s category (such as General, OBC, etc.).

CBSE Marksheet Correction Window is an important facility for those students whose information was inaccurate. In such a situation, all schools and students are expected to complete all the corrections in time, because there will be no second chance later.
