CBSE Science Challenge 2025-26: Registration Open for Class 8 to 10 Students

CBSE has launched the Science Challenge 2025 for students of Classes 8, 9, and 10 to promote curiosity and awareness in science, sustainability, and the environment. This exciting science competition will be conducted in two rounds and held on the CBSE platform during April and May 2025.

What is the CBSE Science Challenge and who can apply?

The CBSE Science Challenge is open to students of Classes 8 to 10 in all CBSE-affiliated schools. The aim is to help students develop scientific thinking, logical reasoning, and decision-making skills.

Students will explore themes like:

  • Science in Everyday Life
  • Environmental Awareness
  • Sustainability

They will also engage with real-world scientific challenges and learn how science helps improve our daily lives.

How will the CBSE Science Challenge 2025-26 be conducted?

Round Details
Round 1 (School Level) Each school will register and conduct the challenge. Schools must select two best students from each class (Classes 8 to 10). The test will be based on science concepts and will be conducted on the CBSE platform between April 21 and April 25, 2025.
Round 2 (Inter-School Level) Selected students from Round 1 will move to Round 2. Schools must register these students on the CBSE portal from April 11 to April 17, 2025. The top six students per school can participate. Round 2 will be held on April 28, 2025.
