Education Desk : Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) Bhopal has started the application process for the Doctoral Program in Management (Ph.D.) program. Interested candidates can apply through online mode till 30 April 2025.
This research program is for those candidates who are interested in subjects like environment, forest, natural resource management, sustainability, climate change and management and want to make their career in these fields.
According to the institute, this doctoral program covers four major areas – Strategic Management, Marketing Management, Organization Behavior and Human Resource Management and Finance Management. Apart from this, various specialization areas like Policy, Environmental Education, Stakeholder Analysis, Social Innovation, Natural Resource Economics, Technology and Innovation Management etc. are also included.
To apply online, candidates have to fill the application form available on IIFM website https://iifm.ac.in/dpm. It is mandatory to attach the required documents with the application form.
Candidates have to upload a one-page write-up on the research area of their interest. A research proposal has to be submitted along with the application form as per the instructions.
This program is also suitable for professionals who are associated with fields such as teaching, training, research, policy analysis or consultancy and now want to gain in-depth knowledge. This program is specially designed to develop analytical thinking, creativity and research ability in the field of policy making and management.
The maximum age limit for admission to this Ph.D. program of IIFM has been fixed at 45 years till 1 July 2025. The selection process will evaluate research aptitude, subject knowledge and analytical and creative abilities of the candidate.
After admission to the doctoral program, candidates will be given training in research methodology, scholarship skills and theory development through various modules.
